diffrent bpm problem for the same beat

Am using rekordbox, I play reggae and we have a lot of songs with the same beat. But with different Artist. But I can get two completely different BPM for the same beat. One is at 82.51 and the other at 165.77 this stops me from beat matching because one will go really fast, or really slow. This is a massive problem for me. Please can someone help me. Thank you

Not at all!

You can, for starters, enable the ability to mix 1/2 or 2x BPM tracks:

But a better option is to select a more appropriate range to help rekordbox detect the beat more accurately; this will also ensure that songs of similar BPM are in the same part of your sort, as opposed to opposite ends of the BPM spectrum:

Selecting a lower range for lower-tempo track analysis will result with BPM detection that more accurately reflects the true tempo.
