When I open Rekordbox I get a pop-up informing to install the new version 5.2.2.
I click install with admin rights. It downloads the packages and installs them.
I have tried more than 10 times.
It says "successfully installed" but it is not. It REMAINS as the 5.1.1.
HELP???!!!
Chances are your shortcut is still pointing to the 5.1.1 version; please browse to the folder that contains the 5.2.2 version and launch it from there. You can uninstall the older version as well to avoid this.

No, as your shortcuts could be created outside of the program installation, and you're able to keep multiple versions of the software installed.
I got the same problem! Curtis from pioneer support sent me software rekordbox 5.1.1, It did installed with my laptop i3, windows 10 o.s, but when I opened it, it says please select player option, fortunately ddj-1000 is not included in the list, so I cannot use it for my new ddj-1000. It asked for update for version 5.2.2 but the same problem, update & installation failed. I do hope pioneer can come up a better solution for this software problem ASAP!
@DJ Dandy > Please try downloading and installing from rekordbox.com rather than through the updater. If you have issues installing, that is separate from a different version running; please file a ticket and our support team can assist you with that.
