There is no sync between computers when two different devices are connected via the same controller's A / B ports.
You CAN view the information both on the screen of the jog and in rekordbox on the other computer.
Today me and a friend have attempted to play across two laptops using the DDJ-1000s double USB input. Rekordbox is able to handle splitting decks 1+2 to laptop 1 and 3+4 to laptop 2 very well. The only short fall we can find at present is on either laptop, you can't view the track / waveform of the other laptop.
So you are having to check out the other laptop to see what track is playing - resulting in the second laptop being pretty pointless at this point. Sure, you could beat match with the other laptop but it'd be nice to be able to view (not control) the other laptops decks and track.
If this is even an option, please help me understand how to get it to work!

Hi.
Yesterday we wanted to use same approach as described above for B2B play using two laptops connected via USB inputs to DDJ-1000 and failed. Waveform/track information of other laptop is not available. Please fix this ASAP!
Hello,
Agree with previous statements: I faced totally the same issue when tried to connect two laptops to DDJ-1000. It does not sync waveform and playing track from one PC to another, meaning that each DJ is able to see only his/her tracks' waveform, but not synced with 2nd DJ's (information from 2nd PC is not available).
Hope you are able to fix it in near time, because this is very important feature and I totally relied on that when buying DDJ-1000.
Waiting for the feedback.
Thank you !
+1 for me too
A few weeks ago I was able to do this in during a house party. It was to confirm what the Dutch representative already told us.
Though I would say I see the benefit of being able to see what is on the other persons laptop simple beatmatching can communication can solve most of this.
Anyone managed to do this yet???
