I own a DDJ-SB2 and have for a while now, have played multiple gigs everywhere but now I randomly tried to open rekordbox on my macbook and mix a little with the sound playing out of my internal computer speakers and cannot get it to work. Have tried essentially everything, along the lines of changing sample size, buffer channels, and even In my computer settings I tried essentially everything and cannot get music to play out of my computer in the rekordbox application whether my ddj is plugged in or not. My good friend who is very knowledgeable in this department had absolutely no idea what is going on as well. Please offer me some assistance. I need to be ready for a gig sometime in the next few weeks.
To output from the internal speakers, you have two choices - one is to set the main audio device as the SB2, but the better option is to enable the PC MASTER OUTPUT. Click on this icon at the top right of rekordbox:
In the PREFERENCES you'll see that the output has changed to be the SB2 + whichever audio device is configured by your OS as your main / default audio output:
