DDJ 1000 with DJS 1000

Is it possible ? or do I have to to go with NXS2 setup?

Yes, it is possible but you will not have the ability to use the sync feature to align the timing of the DJS-1000 to what is playing on the DDJ-1000.

Thank you for the prompt reply. what if i am to use ddj 1000 as a mixer with a cdj 2000(or a pair) to combine with djs1000? how will that setup work ? will it sync?

If the DDJ-1000 itself is only being used as an audio mixer and the CDJs and DJS are linked, then yes.
