Hi all, need some advice from some experts.... my old CDJ1000Mk3's, love em as I do, are now no where near as useful as the current breed of players - sick of losing what tunes are on what CD.
So anyway, I'm thinking of investing again.. they sure are expensive,...
I just don't want to buy a set unto hear that Pioneer have a CDJ3000 or the like about to drop 3 months after I upgrade. I have this thing with Apple where they do this overtime I take the plunge.
So what do you think? go in now or wait?....

Our product teams are ALWAYS working on the next product. If you've held off this long, I'm wondering if going to the top-of-the-line is the best solution for you. Perhaps picking up a used pair of NXS2's after the next product release would be a better option for you to move into the next generation of gear without breaking the bank?

Do you still want to use CDs? If not, why not get the XDJ-1000MK2?
Does the XDJrange not lack many of the 2000's features though?
Not that I'll use that many, I learned to DJ the old school way, havbe never got used to a digital display but that might be what I need to keep abreast of current times.
Also, Thanks for the official comment Pioneer, sounds reasonable... Do they depreciate that much then?

No, the XDJ-1000MK2 and CDJ-2000NXS2 have mostly the same features, but instead of having physical controls, most of the XDJ's functions are on the touchscreen. It's up to you whether you're willing to pay $2000 more for those physical controls.
