about rekord box

hy every one .

sory it may sound stupid but im new to ddj xp1 .  what i wanna know is  how to give live drum music  beats in xp1.? i bought it but now i am confused. i dont know ho to configure the xp1 so that  i can  play it as a drum  beat  with the  pads. thank you :)
