Can you replicate the error? It could have simply been a problem reading from the drive (the UltraFit isn't exactly what I would consider a high-performance USB device).
Hi
I appreciate there have been posts about this issue up until last year (on both CDJs and XDJs), however I never saw a resolution.
I have x2 XDJ700s and earlier this evening one of them randomly went into emergency loop, whilst playing off its USB directly (not link).
The emergency loop happened when using a hot cue to jump into a 8 bar loop - I was able to recover from the issue by loading a new track and didn't need to restart the player or USB.
I am using firmware v1.13
The USB I am using is a SanDisk Ultra Fit - 32GB (last years' model).
The file where the issue happened is a 256kbps AAC (about 7 mins long) and would have been analysed by a Rekordbox version early this year (maybe Rekordbox 5 when it came out).
I haven't been able to replicate the issue.
Can someone please help?
Many thanks

I haven't been able to replicate the error yet.
Is your hypothesis that the error was caused by the USB ? I'd so, what do you recommend as pro grade?
Many thanks
Without more information and reproducibility, it's possible it was just a read-error.
I have personally tested dozens of drives, but I only recommend two due to their speed and reliability:
- Corsair Voyager GTX USB3
- SanDisk Extreme Pro USB3 / 3.1
