Detach video brightness from channel faders

It would be great to detach the video brightness from the channel faders, so if you're talking on the microphone for example or playing a certain track at half volume then the video will still play at full brightness. I believe this is something that Virtual DJ does through a settings option, something like this would be fantastic!
