Customized MIDI Mapping to the Pioneer XDJ RX2 for standalone mode

I have seen some conflicting posts and confusing forums about this topic and am hoping to get an official word on if it is even possible, and if so, instructions as to how I can achieve this.

Is there any way to customize the XDJ RX2 standalone mode layout and pad functionality? I would obviously have to do the mapping from my computer initially but I'm hoping that theres a way to carry those settings over to USB standalone mode. Really looking to use key shift and a bunch of other sampling features in environments where I don't feel comfortable bringing my laptop.
