Serato DJ effects on the Pioneer DJM S9

Thought I'd create a new thread as Pioneer have tried to bury the old one by marking it as resolved. As it stands the Pioneer DJM S9 has a serious fault. When you trigger Serato FX the audio cuts out. This issue was originally reported in Feb 2016, please see https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/204669083-Serato-DJ-effects-on-the-Pioneer-DJM-S9.

I made the mistake of buying one, please don't do the same.

The last update I found within the internal ticket was that both the Serato and Pioneer teams were investigating, but I don't have information as to whether or not there was a resolution. Please note that this problem DOES NOT occur for every user - it does vary per system config, so saying it was serious fault that we "buried" is a bit misleading, and I would request that you please refrain from making such blanket statements.

Wow, the official comment from Pioneer is laughable and has cemented me knowing I made the right decision to return your product. Surely you must understand that for a paying customer it is frustrating to pay £1459 for something with a fault. I then search the internet to find the fault hasn't been fixed in over two years. Not one line of text to say sorry you are experiencing issues. Instead you ask me to shut up so you can protect your brand!

If this was software/laptop related then why does my Pioneer DDJ-SP1 work without an issue? The only reason you haven't got more people reporting the fault is that the majority use your built-in FX only. 

I work in IT and trust me, you are burying tickets when you resolve them without a fix. If I closed a customer's tickets with "we are investigating the fault" I'd be sacked!
