Recording into a DAW from XDJ RX Mic input

Hi everyone I recently purchased an XDJ RX and I'm having a really good time getting to know the ins and outs of the controller. I also produce music in Logic Pro, what I wanted to know was if I use my XDJ RX as my soundcard can I route in my Microphone input on the DJ Controller so I can record in Logic with it?

Plug in your mic/instrument into the xlr and make sure your channel is set to mic

set your track input to external instrument

Yeah its great for stuff your gonna dirty up anyways.. I use it for sampling, you can get a 1/4in to xlr and record anything
