Is it possible to send the main outs of my XDJ RX2 to inputs on my Audio Interface (UAD Apollo QUAD Thunderbolt) which will then onpass the signal to my monitors. I want to be able to use my laptop (which has various production tools) and RX2 at the same time and also record straight into my DAW.
So far there is no recognition on the Apollo's GUI (Console) of any incoming signal (which would be from the RX2). I have downloaded Rekordbox, and all the updates but still can't see it.
Also, using the RX2's audio interface, it does not seem to be possible to select as a main input device within OSX, is this normal?
Any ideas would be highly appreciated at this point !

The RX2 doesn't have audio inputs, so that's why it doesn't appear there.
You really have two options to route the output from the XDJ-RX2 to your DAW; an analog cable from the master output to an input of your Apollo, or you can use a virtual cable software such as Loopback to route the output from rekordbox to the DAW software directly, keeping it all digital.

Thanks I have just seen this, appreciate the info. Actually using an audio cable was the first method I tried, so perhaps I need to see if the UAD side of things is stopping the incoming signal.. will look into it.
However I was also under the impression that the RX2 (if a true audio interface) could send audio via USB straight into the computer? LIke how I have seen with Pioneer mixers (no recordbox inolved).. is this not the case?
No, as noted above - the RX2 doesn't have an audio input, so even though you have a USB connection to the computer, it can't bring audio into any software. Some other Pioneer DJ products feature inputs to be able to record the master mix.

How did you connect the RX2 to your external audio interface ? I tried (without success) to connect my RX2 to my Komplete Audio 6 with a cable (from master 1 or booth outputs). The green lights of my Audio 6 inputs are blinking but no sound in my speakers...
@Marc > That depends on how you have the Audio6 configured to monitor the inputs of that device.

I eventually messed around with monitor selection and got it to work.
I used the master outputs of the RX2 into any given input on my interface using XLR female to jack cables. Good Luck!
