djm 750mk2 Broken slider on Channel 2 (Brand New)

Hi, I recently purchased a DJM 750MK2 & two XDJ1000MK2's as my home practice set up. Everything has been great with the exception channel 2 slider broke off and it's a major annoyance. I don't scratch (all deep house / tech house) and my set up is 100% home use for practicing before tour / shows. The whole rig was around 4k$ so having a mixer where I can only use 3 channels or which breaks so easily is a drag. I love Pioneer and use very similar setups literally all around the world and never seen or have broken a channel slider. Is there an aftermarket slider I can put over or a quick solution from Pioneer? It was only bought a few months ago so I'm assuming there should be a warranty, but most ideal is a quick replacement I can push in place my self? Any guidance is appreciated or I'll reach out to the DJ site that I bought from. Thanks!

Hard to tell, but it sorta looks like the stem was bent to one side, which I'm guessing is why it broke. You can try contacting Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to find out if they'll repair it under warranty, but I believe that unfortunately, much like tires on a vehicle, faders are not covered for wear-and-tear or unusual damage.

You can certainly purchase a single replacement fader to do it yourself.

Do you have a recommendation on part number / where to purchase? Is there an aftermarket solution that goes over the stem so the fader doesn't fully need to be replaced. This is kind of a drag being I'm 100% certain it's not from hard usage. Either way, just want solution so I can use my 4 channels again that doesn't require taking the whole thing apart which would probably void my warranty to begin with. I appreciate your input though I'm certain I'm not the only person who this has happened to. It's less than a few months old and in my house, not in a club where it's out of sight.

Opening the fader plate does not void the warranty -- it's a simple process.

You could typically order parts for it here, but they don't seem to have anything listed for the DJM-750MK2, so best to call or email them: 310-515-0207 / research@pacparts.com
