Pioneer CDJ 2000 NSX2 Tempo Width Buttons Error

I am having problems when using the right hand side buttons, mainly the issue is that most of them are changing the tempo width +6, +10, +16 and sometmes their origianl buttons. Also the tempo reset button to the left of the fader sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Also the sync button is chaninging the width on screen aswell. I initially discovered the issue whilst on Tracktor 3 connected via HID mode and thought the issues layed within Tracktor Mapping. However, the issue occours whilst using USB and CD. I have tested my other CDJ 2000 NSX2 and that seems to be responding normally.

My first idea is filthy or worn push buttons on the mainborad of the CDJ. These are the real buttons under the button caps you push on to. In the past I've had the same problem with both my CDJ-500II CD players, almost all push buttons on the mainboard were worn, or filty due to incoming liquids (beer). But ok, that's ages ago...

Do you experience this problem with both your CDJ's?

Thanks for reply. I have only used them around 10 - 15 times and have been very careful keeping them in cases and away from drinks and they are pretty new as I have had them now for just over a year (Bought  brand new). I have updated to the latest firmeware 1.84 and tried to reset back to factory settings. The problem does not occur with my other CDJ and was working fine no more than 2 months ago.

Probably no worn or filthy push buttons then...

Is the buttons problem always, also when playing from a USB stick without a PC/RB connected?

Here is a short video of the problem, and if you look at the screen you can see the width changing when pressing master tempo etc. Also visible on screen when pressing master tempo button in multiple times it does not turn off. (MT)

That's looks like a tricky one on your sample movie…  Personally I would open up the CDJ, and see if the belt cable from the fader board did n't come loose. But your pitch fader it self seems to work, then this will not have to be the cause. Or the cable must be loose only a bit.

If you'll fill an enquiry form, you might get the advise to bring your CDJ to a local service center for inspection.

But maybe Pulse will react in this topic later today or this week, maybe he's got another trick to find out what's going on.
