DDJ-1000 and 2 laptops
My friend and I will be using my DDJ-1000 with 2 laptops connected. One will use rekordbox and the other virtual dj. The problem I was having the other day was that when I moved channel 1 or 2 that is would move it on his computer and mine. Maybe I had a setting wrong on the controller. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

When you use 2 laptops with rekordbox, the ddj speaks with both rekordbox laptops and work together to split decks and share the mixer, effects while using one soundcard for each laptop, is a network.
When you use 2 laptops with 2 different software, each software will use the entire setup. Make a test, open rekordbox and virtual dj and see if the both software are controlled by the ddj 1000 at same time or if one stops working.

When you connect 2 latops you do this via USB IN A and USB IN B.
When switching from laptop A to laptop B, then you alsno need to set the switch on top of your mixer's line inputs from UBS A to USB B.

I will check that out. I think if I moved Channel 1 and both moved in Virtual DJ and rekordbox for each laptop.

I thought that is what I was doing but I think I had gotten confused on that.
