Internal mixer mode output thru DJM-250MK2

I want to use AutoMix for background music at gigs while I am setting up. I have a DJM-250MK2 but the RekordBox software will not allow switching to internal mixer mode. I can only use internal mode using the laptop speakers. I tried connecting the headphone output to the AUX line inputs on the DJM but the sound quality is terrible.

Is there a way to channel the output from AutoMix thru the DJM-250MK2?

What computer are you using? Having used the AUX input from a phone and iPad haven't had any issues, have you set it to aux from mic?

Thanks. My HP ProBook laptop (Windows 10) had the high definition device for the headphone jack disabled. The sound quality is proper now and this should work. I just wish there was a way to use the internal mixer mode directly with my 250, simpler connection.

I would like to use the AutoMix function for wedding reception back ground music before the formal festivities begin. I can put together a list of Easy Listening/Jazz songs and they will play in random mode while I walk around and talk to the guests or coordinate last minute details.
