Unable to Restore Collection

Hi,

I wanted to delete some tracks from a playlist, instead, I deleted them (and all of my beatgrid/cue data) from the collection.

I wanted to restore the db so I went to File > Library > Restore Library, selected a datafile.backup3.edb from Users/[my username]/Library/Pioneer/rekordbox, and I got the error: Failed to restore the collection.

Now, when I look at those edb files, they're all modified after the point when I needed to back them up from. Luckily, I made a copy of the contents of the rekordbox directory and saved it to my desktop. Can I get some help restoring my collection to the state it was in before this mistake?

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015)

High Sierra 10.13.4

Rekordbox 5.4.3 rev.15644-14684-14610

I was able to restore the collection using the directions found here:

https://www.djresource.eu/Forum/topic/37866/Rekordbox-recover-deleted-Playlists/

That said, it was really more of a workaround than an actual solution. I would feel better about it if I didn't have to go outside of Rekordbox to accomplish it. Please let me know if there's something I can do to ensure I'm able to leverage the edb backups in the future.

First of all, the backup databases aren't meant to be used for a Library > Restore Library procedure. If you haven't opened/closed rekordbox more than 3 times, we may be able to recover it.
