Does the DJM-S3 Mixer work with the DJM-REC app? (does it have the send/return feature)

Hi,

 

I want to record my vinyl DJ sets. Before I spend $$ on a device, I want to check if my DJM-S3 mixer is compatible with the Pioneer DJM-REC app.

The DJM-S3 does not feature a USB connection for the DJM-REC app, so it wouldn't work directly with a digital connection, but you could run the output from your mixer into an iOS-compatible audio interface and capture it that way, or through the microphone on your phone... But in all honesty, if you're using Serato DJ, why not just record within the software?
