Yes, but it must be connected to a computer when the change is made and for that value to be retained.
Hi guys,
I saw a previous subject about this but wanted to see if there will be any update.
So Pioneer fixed the default cut in (without connecting computer) from 3 to 1 mm.
It is better, but it is still very annoying when your preferred setting is to have it at the minimum (0.3 mm) and like to use your mixer without computer to scratch.
Is there any update plan to fix this and have the mixer keep the preferred setting in memory when computer is disconnected? Or maybe a way to chose the default cut in?
Thanks!

Any answer to this from Pioneer Dj ?
This is exactly what i was comming here to ask. The crossfader is fine using serato, but scratching real vinyl the cut in for me is unuseable. I can't see how this isn't been made a bigger issue with how long it's been out & all the big djs using it. I suppose not that many people scratch real vinyl on the S9.
So i guess this answers my question i was going to ask, Can the cut in be changed for real vinyl?
This is the issue though. The change will be retained as long as your computer is connected. But when you disconnect it and want to use your S9 without a computer connected, the cut-in you set up won’t be retained and it will go back to the 1mm default.
Will there be an update to fix this ?
Still 1mm crossfader cut in and only default on-board effects when standalone, anybody ???
Sorry, that's the default when not used with a computer.
And is there going to be an update of the software so it can retain the distance set when the computer is plugged in and not switch back to the default value when not used with a computer? Or a way to set up the distance we want as default value when not used with a computer?
Not since the mixer was released and none planned, sorry.
