Emergency loop

Hello, last night during a show my friend plugged in a second USB device on port 2 on my XDJ-RX2. At that point, USB 1 got into emergency loop, which was a pretty bad loop also... It happend again after 10 min. Again on port one, which is my own usb device which has never problems.

I am using a samsung T5 SSD

Any ideas what I can do to find the problem and fix it?

Thanks

This has happened to me as well. But i have not experienced this after i updated my RX2 to the latest firmware 1.35

1. It could be a a corrupt Mp3 / Wav file
2. Faulty Usb (Bad connection) memory or breakage in the the cable. you mention T5, well then its USB - C
and those cables are not 100%
3. Corrupted or broken Rekordbox information. Especially if you have more then 10 000 tracks on the device.

I have six SSDs myself and bought several spare cables, including angled USB connectors to minimize the angle of the cable, be sure to get the right model though. So it point ouward from the unit!

Hope that helps!

Do the update on the firmware, im almost certain its that!

@Digilux > It's entirely possible that his drive was faulty and causing some kind of power fluctuation which affected your drive. I've got a T5 myself and have never had any issues with it in any player, but that's not to say there's no chance of it happening. As @Martin says, it could also be a cable or the connection to the port. If you can, try reversing the scenario - plug your drive into USB 2 and his drive into USB 1 and see if it happens again.
