DJM-900NXS Master Outputs Disconnect when Redlined

Mixer runs flawlessly until outputs pushed over then the master output relays disconnect the signal (can be heard chattering). Both sets of output opamps changed, protection transistor (not the mute). Sound off of the Rec outs seems ok off the same DAC. Did run the mixer without the output protection transistor and sound stayed on but was harsh past 'over'. Normally I would expect this from most mixers but have been told this mixer should stay connected even though lit up like a christmas tree. I'm guessing there is a problem in the sound filtering circuit more than likely that follows the DAC? Any technical advice appreciated. TIA

If you're an authorized service center, you will have access to the service manuals which outline all of this information. If you are not an ASC, then I'm sorry but I'm unable to provide you with the detailed technical specifications you seek.

Not to sound condescending, but why are you redlining the mixer?

re Pioneer DJ, I'm a repair tech, I don't run mixers into clip or over, this is my customers complaint so it is the end user lighting the vu's up like a Christmas tree not me. My main problem diagnosing where the signal falls over is not being able to look at signal with an oscilloscope while the mixer is powered up and running, so unless this is a known problem to some other tech I'll have to shotgun the repair replacing a section at a time until I solve the problem which is no fun and time consuming.
