UPDATING FIRMWARE ON DJM-900 NEXUS TO MacBook Pro

Good evening Pioneer team, 

I cannot get the mixer to update to version 1.32.  First I downloaded the newest software available. I then connected via ethernet to thunderbolt 3 Mac OS Catalina.  next, I held the appropriate buttons to enter update mode on the mixer, however, it does not engage the update.  Please help.  Support also has this case but recommended that I also enter the issue in the forums.
