Roll Effect out of time when loading new track to deck XDJRX2

Hi

I'm using an XDJ:RX2  and when using a 2 bar roll effect (any amount of beats for that matter), the roll loop jumps out of timing when I add a new track to the deck.

I use the roll to create a 3rd deck for tight time constraints given only 2ch, and it's constantly jumping out of time, and I can't jog the roll effect back into time.

Just so we're all aware, latest firmware, Quantize is enabled, I've tried with sync and that changes nothing either.

Am I doing something wrong with regards to loading the new track at the wrong time, or is something in the software askew?

Thanks

Dave

happens to me too.

I found that it happens only when sampling deck 1, if you sample deck 2 no problems.

(edit)

Solution founded.

Set the AUX selector on the mixer to 0db, if set to Off it will skip the roll on loading track from deck 1.

Hope that help.

I am also having this problem when trying to mix in a 3rd track with the roll effect. The quantized roll skips and falls out of beat when in standalone mode and when connected to rekordbox via the laptop. If I deselect effects quantize after triggering a roll I can add a new track to the deck and it won't lose timing, but this is restricting as the tempo cannot be changed until the roll effect is turned off.

For me, the AUX had no effect on the roll staying in sync. My device has the latest firmware.

Pioneer DJ, is there a solution for this?
