Changed which folder name?
Hey,
So I have access to a studio on a local radio station and I figured I'm gonna practice some DJing, but I ran into an issue!
I plugged in a USB flash drive that has analyzed songs from Rekordbox exported onto it, but when I hit the play button on the CDJ 850 player, on the screen there came up an error message which said "Not Loaded" - and logically could not play the song.
What could the issue be? I checked for format and everything and it's FAT32 as it should be. I formated it again and exported again. Should I just try once more at this point?
It should be mentioned that when I tried the first time, I might have changed some folder name after I did all the Rekordbox business and closed the application. Maybe this is causing the issue, somehow corrupting the data? Forgive me if it doesn't make any sense, I happen to not be technical at all (but trying to learn to the best of my ability).
Thanks! Looking forward for some support.

Changed which folder name?
Thanks for the quick response!
As I did all the prepping 2 weeks ago, I don't quite remember. I tried it on the CDJ this evening.
But I'm pretty sure it was some sub folder inside of the "Contents" folder. That, or maybe I dragged some folder into some other. I'm sorry I can't provide a more detailed account, I can redo everything again and try it out on the CDJ, and come back with more details.
But I guess that modifying folders, files, etc can corrupt the files somehow?
My recommendation would be to format the drive and re-export.
And no, you shouldn't move, rename, or delete any of the Contents or Pioneer folder files or sub-folders.
Ok I'll try, thanks for helping out! I'll ask again if it doesn't work.
Hello,
I have the same issue, however I didn't anything to change folders or whatever. I've just used rekordbox and the sync manager to transfer my playlist on my usb driver. Somehow there is sounds which are ok and some where I get the message "Not Loaded". I have try several different usb drivers and to reformate them into FAT32 (they were already formated into FAT32)
Can you advise me something ?
Thank You
Alex
Hi Alex,
Sorry to hear that - please try using a USB3.0 drive, not a USB3.1 drive. Some 3.1 devices aren't properly backwards-compatible and thus can't be read by the CDJ-850.
