RekordBox and exFat

Why is RekordBox stil not compatible with exFat ..
It's so oldfasion. In my opinion a CDJ and RekordBox need to get upgraded to Read all Global SDs/ USB / SSD formats.

Are you coming with a update / Upgrade to this.??

rekordbox itself can read/write to an exFAT drive as a source of music, it just can't export to it. Even if we added support for exporting to exFAT, none of the existing hardware devices which are rekordbox compatible can support exFAT themselves so they wouldn't be able to read the drive.

It's on our future roadmap but we don't have a timeline for implementation. Thanks for your feedback.

So Pioneer is just for apple users then?

Pioneer has had native hfs support for ages.

No support for exfat, no support for ntfs

You want people to format disks so that they won't even be able to store rekordboxes own backup as they are likely to be bigger than 4gb...

poor show pioneer. Especially on the latest released products.

I have an exports on a 128GB USB drive formatted FAT32.

I have my library on a 1TB USB SSD formatted to exFAT.

I'm not sure what you're saying doesn't work?

What's being said is valid , we should not have to download some old formatting tool just to use USB drives bigger than 32gb with Windows, it's not professional in any way at all.

@andy > You don't need to - there are literally dozens of websites showing how to use Windows tools to format without any other software required.
