That's just reading the iTunes/Music XML file, it's not something rekordbox is creating. Please export a new XML from the Music app and see if the problem persists.
When using the Sync Manager to import playlists from iTunes/Music, it shows 3 times the same playlist. (see image) First I thought it had something to do with macOS Catalina, but I didn't had the problem last December. And even if I delete the playlist in Music (in this case 'Mika's Dance Punk'), it still shows up. I've tried creating new playlists, to see if that had something to do with it, but that works just fine (see second image).
Can someone please help me make sense of it!

Thanks for answering.
I've already tried exporting a new XML file from the Music app and linking that file to Rekordbox. But the problem still persists. I've opened the XML file in TextEdit to check if the playlists were hiding somewhere in the code, but no trace of them.
I've tried deleting the Library xml file so Rekordbox had nothing to refer to, but still no change. Also I've tried leaving the iTunes Library url in the preferences blank. I even reinstalled rekordbox... Didn't do a thing.
It's a mystery!
Hmmm... can you email a copy of the XML file to forums@pioneerdj.com? I'll open a ticket and send it to our engineers for review.
I've sent the email!
Thanks - you should have seen the ticket update email.
Was there a resolution on this? - recurring issue for me as well TY
