Hi Guys
I have a Pioneer XDJ rx2 controller and recently I decided to transfer all my collection and playlists on to a new laptop leaving the second laptop as a back up.
Please note the music folders were on the "back up laptop" hdd.
Now I have copied the new music folder and partitioned the drive of the new laptop with the same letter and name hoping that rekordbox would read find this path as the same and will have no issued in reading the songs from the collection.
But it is still asking me to relocate.
My music database is split by genre and subfolders i.e. House - deep house - funk house - tech house. Hence this will take a long time to relocate one by one.
Is there anyone who can help me get thru this rather quicker and perhaps more easily?
I know that having an external drive and use this on both laptops would do the trick but I prefer having everything on the laptop s hdd.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Alison,
Click File > Display All Missing then when the pop-up appears, select all, find the first one it asks you to locate, then when it finds it, you'll see a pop-up asking about using that path to find the others - say "Yes" and it will chew through the entire list.
