Set the hot cues to auto load in the RX utility menu.
Please note they will not auto-load if you use the track search buttons, instant doubles, or the search.
Hi - help please - so long time user of xdj rx & rekordbox. I use standalone. I loaded a new playlist with hot keys set in rekordbox & with auto load enabled. on the XDJ RX for some tunes the hot keys auto load but for others they don't assign to the pads. so on the waveform I can see the hot cues but not assigned to pad & if I touch the pad it just assigns new hot key at that position. Am I doing something wrong? got the feeling I had this in the past but can't recall how it was corrected - anyone able to help?

thanks for quick response, so where is the hot key auto load in the rx utility menu? not seeing it there. I see option for loop slice but not hot cue. out of interest loop slice shows as "single" or "continuous - I don't use loop slice but intrigued on different setting meaning? this is an aside though! hot cues is my issue!
Ah - sorry, RX not RX2! You have to manually call them on the RX by pressing the CALL button for each track you load (Shift+HotCue pad mode), then wait a couple of seconds.
Ok but how come on some tracks they auto load onto pads? so I have just loaded one track, hot cues show on waveform but don't load to pads, so if I call them, the pads continuously flash but if I hit the pads they work. However, I have then assigned another track, this time hot cues auto load to pads! so I have gone back to track 1 thinking that perhaps the hot cues will now auto load but they don't, have to call again!
Are you sure they load automatically? I'm willing to bet they're not loading until you press the pad.
yeah they do, can send you a video to show if you can tell me where to send
Sorry, been a while since I've had hands-on time with the RX...
I got it out and here's the way it works...
If you load a track from the song browser or playlist, it will auto-load the hot cues. If you instant-double, search, or use the Track Search buttons it won't auto-load the hot cues (which is what I posted on the initial reply). If you load through those methods, then you need to use the CALL function.
