Sound only coming out of laptop speaker and not controller

I'm using my XDJ XZ with rekordbox dj (demo mode) via laptop.

Im getting control and sound with my controller and speakers in Export mode but when I attempt performance mode (for four deck use) the only sound I get is thru my laptop speakers. Is this because I'm using the demo mode or am I doing something else wrong.

@Dean > Have you installed the drivers for the XZ, if on Mac allowed them through security, and then configured the XZ within rekordbox as the audio device?

Yh the latest driver has been installed. I'll try explain what happens.

I get full control from the controller so jog wheel works, loading tracks works etc... but theres no sound coming from the channels only sound is coming from the laptop speakers.

Regarding the latest version of rekordbox I've installed 5.8.5 (repeatedly) but when ever I load rekordbox a message appears saying I'm using 5.8.0 you need to update to 5.8.5 but I've update it every time I open the program.

Are you launching rekordbox 5.8.5 or did you keep the 5.8.0 shortcut and launch from that?

And are you on a Mac or PC?

Ahh... think I've been loading the 5.8.0 Short cut...

Amen got it working. Yh Mac security was blocking the Audio driver.
