Rekordbox 6 destroys intelligent playlists!

Having just upgraded to RekordBox 6, you can imagine how overcome with joy I was to find that every single one of my intelligent playlists (IP) (I was at the limit which was 125 I think) no longer works.

Every IP I had was based on my own tags, and now every IP has the same amount of rules as before, but all the conditions where I was using tags are blank.

C'mon guys, do you even beta test this before you release it, or do you get us to do the beta testing for you?

So, so, so glad I took a backup of my library before upgrading, so at least I can rollback

The very same happened to me, fortunately most of my playlists are manual and simple ones.

I wish I would have read this thread before upgrading to rekordbox 6...

What a shame seriously, don't they test their software ? Pioneer is driving me crazy with the lack of seriousness. I mean they have good ideas but damn, everytime they miss the point.

How can they earn my trust by subscribing to a plan if the first thing I see is that my intelligent playlists are off ? Why don't they launch a beta ? oh mygod

It's like releasing a CDJ2000 nexus that cost more than 2000$ that can't even read FLAC.

By the way there were much more important features to develop than this cloud thing like the limit of 125 intelligent playlists, the unexepected error while exporting (without any error file), the tags organization...

This cloud thing was already possible on the 5.0 by using a Dropbox account! So we have to subscribe to a rekordbox plan to do what Dropbox can do ? With a few features from rekordbox to sync your data and some other functions ? I can't see the point of their subscription plan. The only good thing is controlling your collection from your smartphone... Uhhh iPhone! Yeah because Pioneer is like Apple.

An interface connecting a Dropbox account to rekordbox would have been a much better approach instead of wanting your users to subscribe to your plan because they don't know the Dropbox trick. You limit your software by doing this and you'll lose users instead of being open and getting the best of it.

I don't like the way you think and develop products. I'm only using Pioneer for the CDJ because it is a standard in the industry but I'll move away anytime I'll get the occasion.

Now I have to get back my 125 intelligent playlists... really.....

7 months later, I've tried again and I still don't see any of my intelligent playlists...

I've tried the feature above but it does absolutely nothing. I'm going back to rekordbox 5.

For real it's the last time I'm using the CDJ & rekordbox combo. Eveything is expensive but it's absolutely not justificated.
