DJM-rec not recognizing DJM 900Nxs2
Hello Pioneer,
I am unable to get DJM-rec to recognize my DJM 900nxs2. I am on the latest firmware (2.07) and the latest IOS (13.4.1) on my iPhone 11 pro. I have tried multiple lightning bolt to usb cables (apple OEM). I have tried different sequences of plugging in the phone, powering up the mixer, opening DJM-rec, restarted my phone etc, etc.
Essentially it is showing "Analog" mode even when plugged into the mixer and the audio output is greyed out and stuck on "headphone jack."
Would love to get things rolling and have a intuitive feeling that this is a conflict with the new firmware and the latest IOS. Let me know, I will be so stoked if I can get this to work.

I also uninstalled and reinstalled DJM-rec as well.

Same problem for me here!
But it's working in an akward way:
The BeatFX-Selection-Knob defines the output-channel, which is recored to the DJM-Rec-App. Example: If the knob is on "Channel 1", the App recognizes sound from a CDJ connected to the DJM.
Need help to fix that issue!

That sounds super awkward so you would have to keep the beat effects on master and could really only use the color efx?

And I heard back from pioneer support that a limited number of users are having this issue which is a bummer for sure. Let me know if you get yours resolved. I was stoked to get this going live streams and podcasts.

Hey Phil,
it's the same for me, what you mentioned in your video!
Awkward thing is, that the selection-knob only has to be on a channel, but beatfx do not have to be turned on..
So the "Master" has to be selected to get the sound you normally should get in the app. But if I want to use BeatFX then, it will put the effect on the master, what is definitely not that, what I want.
I've contacted the support too, but only got back a link for Mac-Troubleshooting, which is not even working...

For me the the DJM-REC app works great with the DJM-900NXS2.
I assume you are using an original Lightning cable from Apple as 3rd party cable probably don't work.
I am using an iPhone XR with IOS 13.4.1 without issues.
Have you tried to force a complete reboot of the iPhone to be sure there hasn't been a hickup in the device.
The hard reset for the iPhone 11 works as follows:
1. Press and release Volume Up button
2. Press and release Volume Down button
3. Press and hold the button on the right hand side until the Apple logo appears.

Hi, i have the same problem, djm 900nxs2 with firm 2.07 and djm rec update in iphone xs max ios13.4.1, the mixer not recognize and i check with various lightning cables and with other iphone 7 ios 13.4.1 too. Djm rec not show “djm digital” only analog.
