Help with usb stick on XDJ-RX2 please

Hi, any help please. Ive been using my laptop to mix on these. I've now bought a usb stick, I've successfully put my tunes on the stick and can play them through the decks fine. The problem I've got is the tunes don't display the same on the central touch screen when playing via stick. When played via the laptop you get the sound waves of both tracks playing with one above the other, when played via USB stick is just the track info on the screen. Any one know why this is? Dave

Did you prepare the music with rekordbox and export to the USB drive from there? Or did you just copy the songs from the folder to the USB drive?

I dragged and dropped them from rekordbox into the USB drive

Yeah, that would be it! The export from rekordbox not only transfers the songs, but any additional database info to go along with it, plus the waveform and cuepoint data. You can export a single song or an entire playlist by right-clicking on it and exporting to the device name, or you can open the device on the left of the rekordbox window and drag-drop to that (not the Finder / Explorer)!
