Dub Echo sometimes wont work on XDJ RX2

Hello, I've had my XDJ RX2 for about a month, and sometimes when I'm trying to record a mix, when I try to utilize the Dub Echo effect, it essentially wont work at times. I've turned both the Color FX and parameter knobs, and still nothing happens. I'll use the other FX (sweep, filter, noise) and I'll have response on all three FX, but it's the Dub Echo that wont work at times. Then, randomly, a few tracks down the line, Dub Echo will start to work. It's a problem that seems to come and go, because after a while it wont work again. What can be causing this issue? Perhaps its faulty hardware related? Anything that can point me in the right direction would be amazing. I bought this unit new.

I have this problem too among several others such as having to restart my computer every time I want to connect Rekordbox to RX2. All issues seem to be related to Pioneer's crappy software. That and the most expensive piece of equipment in my studio by a long shot yet the ONLY piece of equipment I've ever owned bar technics 1210s and mixer that couldn't tempo sync with MIDI to everything else, like it's some old 80s synth, or 70s turntable or something. Seriously, fire the directors of this company, what a joke

@Yusef > Is that on the hardware or controlling software effects? And is it over the master audio or to the recording?

@Ross > Yes, the directors are the ones responsible for resolving rekordbox bugs, so we'll get right on firing them. Your issue is clearly different from Yusef's, so I'll ask you to please file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.

And this is how you talk to disgruntled customers that just spunked a grand and a half on a piece of kit that doesn't send midi tempo information to other studio equipment? Maybe you should be fired too. Obviously the directors don't make buggy software, but for sure it's higher ups that are telling developers to not add full midi compatability so that we have to spend stupid money to get our kit to work with our drum machines and synths.

No worries, reckon I'll just get on the hunt of director emails and email them directly and copy in this customer service. I'll get some videos up on your Twitter of the kit glitching out while I'm at it. Hell, I've only had it a few days, might just send it back and get Denon decks instead, hearing much better things about them

Sorry if I'm being a bit of a dick but I'm pretty annoyed. Maybe I'm just dumb and thinking like a producer rather than a DJ, but on the main features section of the RX2 page on the Pioneer website there is a big green tick next to MIDI Control which misled me into believing I was buying a piece of hardware that would provide MIDI control for any music software, and this hasn't turned out to be the case. So yeah I'm annoyed about that and that I have to keep restarting things for it to work properly, it's just a poor experience for the money spent

@Ross > You still haven't filed a ticket like I asked earlier - if you want support, I'll direct you to use that route rather than thread-jack Yusef's post. Thank you.
