Using a DDJ-400 and two turntables as inputs into DJM-750mk2.

So I am looking at going 4 channel and I currently have a DJM-250mk2 plugged in to two vinyl turntables. I also have a DDJ-400 as a mobile mixing unit, but this as we know does also operate as inputs when plugged into a laptop with the DJM250mk2. So my options for 4 channels are buying a DDJ1000 and plugging the turntables in. This would give me 4 inputs (2 built in jogwheels and the external decks), but I understand the audio quality from a DJM-750mk2 will be superior for analogue signals. So a DJM-750mk2 with four inputs is the superior route (is this a correct assumption?) So if I was to plug a DJM-750mk2 in with the DDJ400 (with the decks plugged into the back) would the DJM-750mk2 recognise the two jogwheels on the controller and the 2 external inputs giving me 4 mixable inputs at the same time?

@Dave > You could use the DDJ-400 as the controller for 2 channels (USB ONLY) and then use the DJM-750MK2 as the audio interface for all outputs from rekordbox, as well as the DVS input from the turntables. You could even remap the mixer section of the DDJ to other functions if you wanted as no audio would be passing through the unit.

That would be the ideal situation.
