XLR master outputs on DJM 900 nexus 2 are broken/not working correctly

XLR master outputs are broken/not working correctly - sounds like they've blown/crackly sounds in the speakers. This has been an issue since I purchased the mixer, but I always just assumed that it was my XLR cables, so I switched over to using the booth monitor using 1/4 jacks so I didn't have the issue. Since getting new XLR cables this is clearly an issue with the mixer outputs and I am feeling a bit frustrated as my mixer is now out of warranty, but this was an issue that was present when I purchased it (brand new).

I've looked around online and other people have experienced similar issues, so it's clearly not an uncommon issue

In the majority of cases where users had reported this issue, it turns out that they ran their mixer into another console which supplied phantom power up the outputs, thus frying the output board in the DJM.

If this was a problem when you purchased it but have now passed the warranty, I'm sorry but the repairs would be at your expense - hindsight is 20/20, but I would have either returned it to the retailer immediately or sought a repair.

Please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.
