BPM of track off between rekordbox to xdj xfer

Here is a recent problem i am having with only about 5 tracks recently. When importing a song to rekordbox it seems fine. Song sounds fine and bpm is correct. Let’s say 140 for this example...I export it to my sub and play the track on my usb the song loads at 140bpm but when I play the song the song plays at half speed. I have tried deleting the song off my computer and redownloading it and doing the process all over with no luck. Any advice?

Are you certain the beat grid is set at 140 on the track within rekordbox and it's not trying to match that BPM with a track playing at 70bpm?

What is looks like is above.  I have no songs that are 70 bpm.  The song says 140 bpm in rekordbox and the grid lines up to each beat.  The song even says 140 on the XDJ but once the audio starts its half the speed.

Bump.  I have not figured out what this issue is yet.

I tried to see what would happen on CDJ's.  3/4 songs said wrong file format and the file format is aiff. The 4th one played on tempo and on time. Any Ideas? I have updated to the new rekordbox as well to see if that helped and no luck.

Hey ! I've been seeming to have this problem as well; after going through and referencing the differences between the 'halftime' tracks and the rest of my music, I believe it might have to do with the 96khz sample rate. All of the tracks that had this problem with were at 96khz. In saying that, there is an EP I have that seems to play fine at this sample rate, but it's the only exception I've found (maybe to do with it's relationship to the sample size being smaller ??)

I've yet to test it out, but I'm going to convert the problem tracks to a smaller sample rate and let you guys know if it works. I have a feeling that this might be the issue.

Cheers!

Hey ! So I believe I was right about my theory; I brought down the sample rate to 44.1khz on a couple of problem tracks and they began to play fine on my XDJ-RX. As a test, I also exported a couple of other songs from Rekordbox that had a 96khz sample rate to see if they would also act up, and they did !

I'd recommend just downsizing the sample rate of the tracks if you're running into this problem; I just dropped it into Ableton and exported at the desired sample rate, but I'm sure this can be done in any audio editing program, like Audacity for example.

Hope this helps whoever finds this ! lol

Ethan! Youre the man!  I will try this out.  Maybe pioneer should get you a job since their tech support was unable to figure it out as well.  ;P
