Were you possibly playing from a streaming source (such as Tidal) on CH3? Recording from those sources are prohibited, and thus it stops.

Rekordbox recording stops when I cross fade
Hi, I've setup my PC and mixer which seem to be communicating. I can see the input levels I press record and it starts recording but when I fade across from CH2 to CH3 it stops. Any ideas?

No there're from downloads on a USB. From CH3 the audio level drops to 0.

Do you have CH3 also assigned to the other side of the crossfader? Need a bit more info here...
