DDJ1000 Rekordbox DVS Licence

I purchased a ddj1000 as i was under the impression that it included the licence so that i could connect my 1210s to use the DVS function.  

I purchased the timecode vinyl but i cannot get it working, i tried to change to relative mode but this appears with  a padlock and then gives me an option to subscribe. 

I'm slightly confused, do i have the licence to use (as part of the DDJ1000) or is this something i have to pay for separately?
