Like in the title. I uptadet rekordbox in my macbook and it asks for a driver that doesn't exists 4.0.0
My DDJ-1000 now doesn't show me platter lcd displays....
Anyone?
If you are using macOS Monterey or Big Sur, you can safely install the 4.0 drivers as directed. If you are NOT, then you should not install the 4.0 drivers.

I solved it. Thanks to rekorbox Italia facebook group.
It's something wrong in the information box. Nothing tells us to unistall old drivers and come back to rekorbox for automatic install new driver at first connection of my controller. I was sure to find new driver in PIONEER DJ global site and that was really weird. Please fix it for the people in the future!
After unistalling the old driver, restarting the system, opening rekordbox and connecting my ddj-1000 to usb-C port, rekordbox shows another info box and asks if you want to install drivers 4.0.0 than just click yes and restart again.
Everithing is fine.
My OS is Big Sur.
Tengo el mismo problema que simon , pero no lo puede solucionar.Por un lado primero volvi a ejecutar el archivo bajado de la web de pionner DDJ 100 M 3. 0.0 y ejecute el desinstalador, luego segui los mismo paso que Simon,
Pero cuando puse instalar, se me cierra el
rekorbox y luego nunca se me reinicia sola la maquina y no se me logra instalar la version 4.0.0.
No me pueden enviar una guia de el paso a paso o decirme que me puede estar pasando !! gracias
