While setting up for an event it seemed as if my power went out. It could as easily been the power cord being loose. Right after that the Master Record Light was blinking... I was not able to turn on the XDJ for a little while and was worried. I even unplugged the power from the unit and it still kept blinking (with no power at all plugged in). Is this a safety issue or something needs to be addressed in a firmware update? The party went flawless but I was nervous for a good 10 minutes without any backup plan.
The blinking LED indicates a power fault state, so it could have been that the cable wasn't properly connected, causing intermittent power to the XDJ, making it register the fault.
I'm glad it worked after leaving it unplugged - should that occur again, maybe consider having the XDJ inspected / serviced.
