How do you launch record the sequencer straight from the XDJ XZ and change banks etc? I can't find this functionality
I can launch individual samples and trigger them from the controller, but I can't find how you control the sequencer.
Anyone know how to do that?

The Sequencer is not a function available on the XZ by default, so you'll have to map some controls yourself in the MIDI editor. You'll also need the Creative plan to unlock that function. Let us know if you need more information.

I haven't even been able to find where to launch samples, and its not like I haven't been looking. I wonder if this all has to do with what you can do with rekordbox plans now? It said we should be able to have most controls available but it feels like, for me at least Ive lost control on the actual......well controller....seeems very strange.
