DDJ-1000 and 2x Reloop RP 8000 MK2 - problem with 2 same model midi devices being recognized as one

Hi

My set up is DDJ 1000 and 2 Reloop 8000 MK2 turntables with midi mappable pads.

I am on Rekordbox 5 and trying to map 2 x RP 8000 Mk2. The turntables have 8 pads each in 4 modes. The issue I am having is rekordbox recognizes them as the same Midi device, even when they are set as separate decks (3 & 4) on the turntable. This settings makes them send different midi codes for different pads. For example Deck 3 pad 1 sends 9614 and when set to Deck 4 it sends 9714.

So in summary I am not able to get the RB to receive MIDI signals from 2 devices at the time. It is always one at a time and when unplugged and plugged back in it confuses deck 3 with deck 4.

When 2 turntables connected, none of the midi signals is processed but pads illuminate on both turntables. If I remove the deck 3 turntable USB, it will not disappear from Rekordbox until I unplug the deck 4 USB.

How to make RB to tell the difference between them two so I can map them? I think the issue is Rekordbox does not see them as a separate devices, therefore, when I plug the 2nd turntable it is not recognized in RB (Connecting RP8000MK2 does not show in the bottom).

It worked by using the TT link and setting decks to 1st and 2nd on the Turntables. To do it hold down the scroll knob for 3 sec and then scroll left or right to select the number.

If this feature was not there, the midi features would be uselesss..
