XDJ XZ Problem using Performance and Export mode

I just bought the XDJ-XZ. I've tried connecting it to my PC (Windows 10, fully updated to the latest version) and have tried to use both Performance and Export mode in Rekordbox (5.8.5) without success.

When in performance mode I can access my Rekordbox Library when I push LINK on the XDJ-XZ and can not search through my library. To be clear - there is no search function.

When I try to use the Rekordbox button nothing happens. Occasionally a waveform will load on the XDJ-XZ display but I can't get it to play and none of the XDJ-XZ controls work. In other words, a file sometimes loads to Deck 1 but it will not play when I press the play button.

All drivers, firmware, etc have been updated to the latest versions. What am I doing incorrectly?

When using the XDJ-XZ with rekordbox in PERFORMANCE mode you need to open LINK mode and press the load buttons for decks 1 and 2 to assign the controls. No, there will be no on-XDJ search function since the unit is paired with rekordbox and the search can be used from the computer.

The rekordbox button on the XZ is for use with rekordbox in EXPORT mode, which links the computer as if it were a USB drive, only with the ability to use the in-software search functions as well as drag-and-drop to the player.

I would recommend updating to rekordbox 6 unless there is a specific reason you've remained on version 5.

I've updated Rekordbox to the latest version.

When in export mode, after pressing the link button in Rekordbox, I can load tracks into the decks via Rekordbox but they do not appear in the display on the XDJ-XZ, nor can I control them via the XDJ-XZ.

How do I fix this?

I have exactly the same problem as the guy above. and currently the Link icon in rekordbox is not showing at all. xdj xz as console different from rekordbox, but in the first export you can't see the link using "link"
