xdj-xz firmware update

Did you put only XDJXZ.UPD in the USB?
Is the FILE name XDJXZ.UPD?
If the FILE name is different from XDJXZ.UPD, it will not work.

Hi i'm having the same problem when i unzip the downloaded file XDJXZ.UPD it changes to XDJXZ.2UPD why is that happening ? . And when unzipped i copy and paste to FAT32 USB , then when i do what pioneer say's to do and put it in my XDJ XZ it doesn't work , is there another way ? help needed 

Rename the file into XDJXZ.UPD and replace on the USB key

If there are multiple FILEs with the same name, the computer will change the FILE name.
In that case, change the FILE name yourself.

Delete all igual files and use only one file. The computer obviously auto rename files with iguals names. The update file into USB key must be unique and with the following name , XDJXZ.UPD

hello ... I need help ... I have tried to download the firmware of xdj-xz version 1.22 and it won't let me download .... it only gives me the option of manuals ,,, can someone help me? or give me a link where I can download ... thank you very much!

I am having exactly this problem. FAT formatted USB, no other files/folders, the update file is named correctly.

If I boot the XDJ XZ normally, it recognises the USB, so there is no issue with the USB stick, and I've tried several with all the same settings as above, but my unit just doesn't recognise it in update mode.
