DJX -R1 problems

I am not a DJ but i know the basics, I have some xdj-r1's given to me to sell for money towards a car but i tested the decks and have come across some problems........

1) when the through button is in the middle or to the right, when the cross fader goes from left to right the right track skips back to the start of the track.

2) the A B C buttons dont light up on the left side.

3) when the right bpm knob is at the bottom (highest bpm) it rapidly changes bpm on the display and out the speaker but push the knob slghtly higher and its fine.

Can anyone help me please?

Hi Luke,

In the video, you simply have FADER START enabled on the right deck. You can disable that in the UTILITY menu.

The issue with the A B C buttons on the left deck could either be that there is no hot cue set on that track, or it's not loading them; press the CALL button and A / B / C to see if they load.

As for the pitch control on the right deck, it appears that it's either failing or dirty; you might try using a contact cleaner, but if that doesn't fix it, the fader itself may require replacement.

i have tried to video it but im no expert i might have a button or setting wrong so sorry if this is an easy fix and i might of wasted your time.
