I am having this same issue with the eq unit. Im considering sending it back and getting a refund as it seems the unit does not function as it should.
Hi,
Since firmware 1.22 I have a very weird issue with the VU meters and volume. When I turn off the bass the VU meter creeps up allot higher than with the bass. I've checked this with a mate with the same controller and he has the same issue.
Also the Jog wheels seem to not register when you move them very slow ( some times to precisely set que points ) and it is hard to use like this.
Using a windows machine with latest RB.

Please be sure that you have updated to the latest firmware re: the jog issue.
As for the VU meters, please note that they are not a 100% accurate representation of the audio levels and in most cases, the changes reflected in an increase on the meters are not audible changes.
I am using the latest firmware but the jog wheels seem somewhat unresponsive, even when set the the lightest setting. I have never experienced the problem with the vu before using pioneer equipment, i have a djm 400, used 600s and 900s. The changes are noticeable during recordings and playback it makes the recordings sound unprofessional. I constantly have to alter the gain levels which is not good when you are in a mix and the volume of a channel signigicantly drops when the bass is turned up.
@DJ Dutchy > "Unresponsive" how, like they won't scratch? Are you in vinyl mode or CDJ mode?
Can you explain what you mean by the sound quality complaint? Thanks.
I would appreciate if you could start a fresh topic instead of piggy-backing on this one as well. Thanks.
