CDJ 3000 USB Stick No Device Name
Hello I am a mostly happy new owner of CDJ 3000, except for a few hick ups.
One issue I keep getting with the new units is that all my usb sticks show up as "NO DEVICE NAME" in the source tab of the players. This can be really annoying when using multiple sticks on multiple players which are linked together. I can't really see which stick is which.
I already tried formatting the stick on Mac OS and Windows. But the result is always the same. Both on Mac and Windows the names of the sticks are shown normally, rekordbox also shows the correct device name. Just the CDJs are not able to recognize the name.
Not a n major issue but something that should be fixed for a flagship unit at this price point. :)

I experienced this too but i figured it out.
you need to click on the device in the browser tree and the attached preferences window opens. devices names are blank by default for some reason. it would be better if Rekordbox defaulted to the device name in this panel.

Hi i have the same issue but impossible to click on the device in browser. Is there a trick to do that?

@Jeramie > Make sure it's under the DEVICES and click the name itself. Here I was showing someone where to change the column option, but to rename the device, click on the GENERAL tab.

Can't get to this page. I tried clicking on the device, tried getting to the browser tree no go.
