How to connect XDJ-XZ with DJS-1000

I've tried using the send out of the XDJ-XZ but the DJS-1000 won't record the signal that I'm sending out of the XDJ-XZ. I've tried sending the sound out of the mixer from both the booth and the send outputs using 1/4" cables into the input of the DJS-1000 but it's not recording any samples. How do I connect the XDJ-XZ to the DJS-1000?

Hi Cameron, I've the same setup.

You need to connect the Send from the XDJ-XZ to the Input from the DJS-1000.

You also need to connect a lan-cable between Link-3 (or link-4, both is fine) of the XDJ-XZ and the Link of the DJS-1000 (this enables quantization/ beat link between both devices).

If the song you want to record is playing at channel 1, you need to select channel 1 in the beat FX from the XDJ-XZ. In this way, it is pushing channel 1 to the Send output.
