XDJ-RR wave forms won't sync on display

I've been using the XDJ-RR for a couple of months now, but all of a sudden I can't seem to sync the wave forms on the display anymore.

For example:
Deck1 has a 128 bpm track, Deck2 has a 110 bpm track. When I enable Master on Deck1 and enable Sync on Deck2, I see the wave forms adjusting in Rekordbox. However, while the wave forms adjust there, they don't adjust on my XDJ-RR display. They remain out of sync and the beat won't align on both tracks.

As said, this does happen in Rekordbox and the song does get adjusted properly. When you play both tracks at the same time, you can hear they are in sync, so the function does work, but the display won't show it (anymore)

Is this something I can fix with configuring some settings? Can I reset the XDJ-RR? Or is it actually broken and do I need to get it fixed?

Does this occur when playing from rekordbox, a USB drive, or both?

Which firmware version is installed on the RR?

Which version of rekordbox are you using?

Which OS is on your computer?

Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply!

This occurs when playing from Rekordbox. When I try to play from USB I don't get the main wave forms at all, only the small wave form in the bottom of the display, which starts to grow/build up when the track is playing. I haven't played from USB much, but I recall the big waves in the display were present when I last used USB. Not entirely sure though,

My XDJ-RR is on the latest firmware (v1.0.3) and so is Rekordbox (v6.4.0). I experienced this issue on the previous version of Rekordbox as well (v6.3.0). My laptop is running on Windows 10 pro.

It sounds like you're playing from USB content that wasn't exported from rekordbox. Is that the same situation in rekordbox? That you're playing from content that hasn't been imported and analysed?

That could be true about the USB part, I haven't really looked into that yet. It's not the same situation in Rekordbox. I have a bunch of local files and some playlists from both Beatport and Tidal imported and all songs are analysed. Neither the local files nor the tracks streamed will adjust their wave form on the display properly while syncing, when Rekordbox on my laptop does.

Hi, so I connected my XDJ-RR to another computer to see if the problem remains. Sadly it does. This computer is also running WIndows 10 Pro and had an older version of Rekordbox running (6.1.1).

After this test I updated Rekordbox to the latest version availaible (6.4.2) to test again. Same result, the waveforms don't adjust in my XDJ-RR display while they do in Rekordbox.

Is there any solution to this or should I contact the company I bought it from and have it checked out?
